Today, the OUEA and OUSD Bargaining Teams met for a fourth time and reached the following agreements:

*The District shall provide a salary increase of 3.75% effective July 1, 2007.

*Effective July 1, 2007, the top step of the teacher/nurse, counselor, media specialist, psychologist and speech language therapist salary schedules shall be adjusted from step 30 to step 28.

*Effective July 1, 2008, modify the work year for psychologists and library media specialists to 195 days.

*Elimination of a Special Programs counseling position and the guarantee of an R.O.P. counseling position.

Both parties have agreed to study instructional minutes for grades 9-12 as needed to meed State requirements.

This concludes negotiations for the 2007-2008 school year.
